Massimiliano Palizzi, also known as Masca, has started to produce and experiment in music from a long time, cultivating a passion for musical instruments, music composition and collecting and modifying several vintage synths and samplers.
He considers music in its every deep part and is constantly busy in the production where his presence and technical competence, enriches his and others' projects.

His career as producer starts in the digital revolution years, bringing with him a varied and complex musical background.
Masca has inherited from his father, an audiophile, the importance of the listening as a special feeling, improving his musical tastes with jazz, blues and studying piano to transform it in the very first hip-hop, drum&bass and ambient productions.
His approach to music has always been research and originality of the compositions without being influenced by market trends.

His hard and deep style derives from his sound engineering education and from his creative way of programming synths, which are melted together personalising his sound in this way. He is owner, with Christian Mantini and Valeriano Pellegrini, of the Neorecords label.
